With over 300 days of sunshine each year, it’s impossible not to feel energized and ready to seize the day in Colorado! So why not soak up some rays on one of our sun-kissed decks? Sit back, relax, and enjoy a cold drink or two while you bask in the beauty of our great outdoors!
It’s easy to find a sugary delight in downtown Breckenridge. Our small mountain town Main Street is a walkable stretch of three-quarters of a mile jam-packed with over 200 stores, boutiques, and sweet treat shops.
Some call it après, some call it happy hour, and others might even call it dinnertime. Whatever you call it, there’s something magical about shedding your gear, finding a warm cozy seat, and having some refreshments with family and friends after a snowy day on the hill. In America’s favorite ski town, there are a plethora of prime après ski spots scattered all over beautiful Breckenridge; so many, in fact, that it was difficult to narrow it down to just seven.
Located at the base of Peak 7 inside the Grand Lodge, this après ski spot couldn’t be more convenient. Ski right to the door and pop inside for a dollar off drafts, $5 well drinks and select wines for $6 from 3.p.m. to 5 p.m. This joint has some of the best views in town!
This is probably Breck’s favorite place to après, thanks to its prime location, great food, friendly staff and fun DJ. Sit outside, soak up some sun and take in the views of Breck’s magnificent Peak 8. New this season, T-Bar is open for breakfast! Our favorite bartender is Lindsey; she makes the best drinks.
Conveniently situated right where Main Street meets the mountain, Quandary is a local favorite. Not only are their happy hour $7 apps and $3 drafts/ wines awesome, but we thoroughly enjoy playing corn hole outside with a view of the mountains, right in The Village.
With one of the best decks in town and unrivaled horseshoe pits, it’s no wonder that Kenosha draws in visitors and locals alike for their happy hours and delicious steak! Their beer cheese and pretzel app is scrumptious.
Formerly known as The Whale’s Tail, this local favorite is a prime après spot, complete with a back deck to view the sunset on and a front deck with a fire pit, where you can play games of stump. Visit Pat during happy hour; his drinks are yummy! Peel and eat your own shrimp as well as really cheap wings are just a couple of our favorite après offerings at The Blue Stag.
Napper Tandy’s is located above Salt Creek, right off Main Street. Nappers is always serving up the best drinks and appetizers, with happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. that features $2 and $3 drinks and apps. Warm up by the fireplace and on their second story deck while you view the mountain that you just conquered.
Known as one of Breck’s most amazing spots to après, The Coppertop Bar is located at Beaver Run, right at the base of Peak 9. Ski down and enjoy live music, daily specials and great views of the peaks.
Well, there you have it; Breck’s best après spots, complete with the insider scoop! All you need to do now is reserve your dates, pack your gear and come thirsty. The staff at BOB cannot wait to see you!!
