“It’s an understatement to say that my family was blown away by our Best of Breck trip to The Grand on Peak 8. The resort had everything we wanted and more to make our experience both fun and relaxing. The kids loved the pools and outdoor games and my husband and I enjoyed taking in the fresh mountain air while watching them play. The on-site restaurants exceeded expectations (get the Philly at Robbie’s!) and the staff was very attentive to detail and welcoming.
It was easy commuting between the resort and downtown via the gondola, and getting out of town to explore the surrounding area via car was also quick, easy, and so SCENIC. Words aren’t adequate to describe the views, both at the resort and beyond. Breck had never really been on our radar as a vacation spot, but after this trip, we will definitely be back again (and again!)”

“I’m so happy to have been chosen as the winner of this giveaway! The resort and room were great and we were only a few minutes from downtown. My mom and I enjoyed taking the gondola to the shops and restaurants. The wine classic was a great experience and we appreciated the wine left in our room from Carboy. My mom really enjoyed ULLR cafe at the resort! Also, shoutout to Emmily for answering all of our questions and making us feel welcome and comfortable for the trip.
My favorite restaurant in Breckenridge had to be Tin Plate Pizza. They had AMAZING gluten-free pizza and dessert for me, as well as pizza and dessert for my non-GF mom.
I went hiking on a nearby trail and loved it. I would definitely return to Breckenridge in the summer!”

“My wife and I had an amazing time on our trip to Breckenridge, [June 2024]. The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 is beautiful with several pools, hot tubs, a gym, grilling areas, and much more. The resort is in the perfect location on the mountain and a very short drive into downtown. Staff members were eager to provide personalized recommendations for hiking trails and local eateries. Hearthstone, Tin Plate, and Blue Moose were some of the highlights of the many restaurants and great food we indulged in.
Breckenridge has a plethora of outdoor activities and adventures we enjoyed! My wife and I biked to Frisco, took a train ride in Georgetown, golfed in Keystone, went white water rafting in Buena Vista, and spent the rest of our time exploring the beautiful town of Breckenridge.
It’s one of the best trips we have ever been on, and we can’t wait to go back!”

“I will forever be grateful for the beautiful memories made thanks to winning this amazing sweepstakes. We loved our one-bedroom residence at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7. We ate at the Sevens Restaurant, and the kids and I enjoyed the Waffle Bar one morning for breakfast, where we met an employee who was from where we live in South Florida. This vacation was my kids’ first time seeing snow, and it even snowed at some point each day that we were there. We started our first full day there with a dog sledding tour at Good Times Adventures. The next day, we took the free shuttle to Main Street to shop, eat, and sightsee. On our last full day there we were fortunate enough to take the free shuttle to see the Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championships. The sculptures blew us away. We then took the shuttle back to Peak 7 and went on our first-ever gondola ride to Peak 8, to enjoy a meal at a restaurant there. The views throughout our vacation were breathtaking. Thank you for making our winter wonderland vacation happen!”

“Our stay started off on Monday February 21, 2022. We were there through Sunday February 27 and loved every second we were there. Friendly greetings at the front desk for check-in. We went up to our room to find out it was super spacious and cozy. Robbie’s Tavern was our first dinner there, and met all of our needs after a very long travel day. We had our epic passes ready for Tuesday and Wednesday and the weather couldn’t have worked out any better not too cold and snow falling as we were riding. Being from back east I always wanted to go out west and snowboard so it was a bucket list trip. The gondola ride down to downtown Breckenridge was a first and definitely used it the rest of the week to get down into downtown for shops and restaurants which we couldn’t seem to get enough of. Only a longer stay would’ve allowed us to see a lot more but I have plans to return in the near future. Thank you for such an awesome opportunity to make my dream vacation come true.”

“We could not have enjoyed our week at the Grand Lodge more!!! Here are some highlights from the week. We loved the condo and spent time making meals and eating in. We utilized the grotto and theatre room. And took full-advantage of the shuttle service! On Wednesday we celebrated our 3rd Wedding anniversary at Hearthstone per one of your concierge‘s recommendations. We shopped and enjoyed live music, local food and beers downtown. Katie at the lobby bar also made us some great margaritas and we enjoyed a rainy afternoon at the pool.
This was truly a dream come true! As I’ve mentioned, we are both teachers and being able to trot away for an entire week worry-free was a huge blessing for us!!! THANK YOU!!!!!”
