About: Did you know that Modis has a rooftop patio? Equipped with comfy couches, love seats and tables, it’s the perfect spot to escape, knock a few back, and enjoy a beautiful view. Modis has two daily happy hours with a unique drink selection and an eclectic atmosphere that will transport you back to the 1920’s.
Local’s Guide: Try the French 75 (gin, fresh lemon, sugar & Cara Mia prosecco) or he Disagreement (bourbon, green Chartreuse & Campari). Also try an app from the ever-changing happy hour menu. We promise you won’t be disappointed!

About: RMU, or Rocky Mountain Underground, opened Summit County’s first ski shop + bar back in November 2016. If you are looking for a truly unique “mountain town” experience, look no further. Grab a seat at one of Breck’s best street-side patios or chill out and listen to some live music in the Beer Garden out back!
Local’s Guide: They don’t serve food here so make sure you grab something before if you’re hungry! A slice at Giam’s always does the trick for us. Then, make sure you try the Sinister Minister (a twist on the traditional Moscow Mule) or the Juan Too Many (it’s impossible to only drink one; they’re too good).

BURKE & RILEY’S | 520 S Main St, La Cima Call
About: This staple Irish Pub in Breckenridge just got a MAJOR facelift. The entire inside and outside has been renovated and looks awesome! You will find rustic, yet contemporary brick wall accents, a matte-black steel countertop, all new wooden tables, and of course the signature firepit outside with phenomenal views!
Local’s Guide: For an immersive experience here, try the Irish Old Fashion (a play on an Old-Fashioned using Jameson and Guinness simple syrup) along with the Corned Beef and Colcannon Mashed Potatoes. Throughout the summer they will be doing a “deck series” with DJ’s on Fridays and Saturdays with giveaways from Red Bull!

QUANDARY GRILLE | 505 S Main St
About: The Quandary is a local’s favorite on the south side of town. They have a huge sunny deck with a cornhole board that overlooks Peak 9, Peak 10 and the Maggie Pond. It’s a nice wide-open space that’s perfect for big parties.
Local’s Guide: Try the Lettuce Wraps if you are looking for a light, yet delicious option, or the wings if you want to spice things up. Then pick a $3 draft beer/house wine or a $4 well cocktail during happy hour and enjoy the view!

SANCHO TACOS & TEQUILAS | 500 S Main, La Cima Mall
About: Sancho is a new restaurant in Breck! They just opened shop in La Cima mall next to Empire Burger and are already a popular local hangout. Offering street-style tacos, apps, salads, gourmet salsa, and of course – TEQUILA!
Local’s Guide: Try the Baja Fish, Barbacoa, or the Pork Belly Tacos. (Honestly, it’s all good – we can’t just pick one!) Good news is all the tacos are “a la carte” for 3 or 4 bucks each, so you can mix and match! During happy hour they have $5 house margs. You’re welcome.
