BEST PATIOS IN BRECK
By Nicole DeCesare / June 5, 2019 / Updated May 2, 2023
With over 300 days of sunshine each year, it’s impossible not to feel energized and ready to seize the day in Colorado! So why not soak up some rays on one of our sun-kissed decks? Sit back, relax, and enjoy a cold drink or two while you bask in the beauty of our great outdoors!
RMU | 114 S Main St.
About: Rocky Mountain Underground, or RMU, made history by opening Summit County’s first ski shop and bar in November 2016. If you’re seeking an unparalleled mountain town adventure, look no further! Whether you’re looking to lounge on one of Breck’s top street-side patios or enjoy live music in the Beer Garden out back, RMU has got you covered. Plus, the entire bar is pet friendly!
Local’s Guide: Try a gourmet grilled cheese from their outdoor food cart! Our favorite is the Figgy Smalls. Then, make sure you try the Sinister Minister (a twist on the traditional Moscow Mule) or the Juan Too Many (it’s impossible to only drink one; they’re too good).
Happy Hour: 4–6 p.m. every day
BURKE & RILEY’S | 520 S Main St. – La Cima Call

Local’s Guide: For an immersive experience here, try the Irish Old Fashion (a play on an Old-Fashioned using Jameson and Guinness simple syrup) along with the Corned Beef and Colcannon Mashed Potatoes. Throughout the summer they will be doing a “deck series” with DJ’s on Fridays and Saturdays with giveaways from Red Bull!
