Grab your Viking helmets—it’s time to honor Ullr, the Norse god of snow! Each December, the town explodes with celebration of all things winter. Locals and visitors of all ages revel in this beloved tradition and hope for a season full of powdery slopes.
Highlights include the crowning of the Ullr King and Queen, the iconic Main Street parade, where creativity and community come to life, a massive downtown bonfire, and the epic attempt to break the “unofficial” world record for the longest Shotski®. Whether you’re in it for the festivities or just here for the party, Ullr Fest is an experience you won’t want to miss!

We like to call The Eclipse one of Breck’s hidden gems, though winning Best Date Night Activity two years in a row has certainly put this spot on the map. The Breckenridge Recreation Center serves as a hub for both locals and visitors seeking fitness and entertainment in our active community. Offering locals discounted winter/summer passes and day use passes for visitors, the “Rec Center” is the perfect place to keep your fitness goals on track even on vacation.
For the ambitious athlete in your group, the center offers an indoor running track, a free weight room, cardio equipment, and two fitness studios.
