The Infamous Stringdusters w/ Gipsy Moon

The Dusters are sure to get you movin’ to their down-home bluegrass feel. Andy Hall on the Dobro, Andy Falco on the guitar, Jeremy Garrett on the fiddle, Travis Book on the double bass, and Pandolfi on the banjo – a collection of talents that can go from a whisper to a roar as the circumstance demands. They will continually surprise you with their complex, distinctive, and groove-friendly sound. The Dusters walk the line between tradition and innovation; joyously embodying the spirit of Bill Monroe, John Hartford, Earl Scruggs and other bluegrass legends, while bringing a lively dance of elements into the mix with intricately improvisational tunes.
Gipsy Moon is a four-piece band on an endless musical journey that will start a fire in your heart. With Silas Herman (mandolin, guitar, vocals), Mackenzie Page (guitar, tenor banjo, vocals), Matt Cantor (bass, vocals), and Andre Conley (cello) you can expect an exciting new twist on indie-folk. They fuse celtic melodies, latin rhythms, bluegrass drive, jazzy vocals, and a gypsy swing that everyone can groove to. Not to mention that Silas Herman is the son of Vince Herman (lead singer and guitar from Leftover Salmon), these guys can seriously jam.

The Devil Makes Three
October 15, 2016 @ 7:30 – 11:00 pm.
This band has maintained a truly unique sound in the current landscape of the Americana scene; they dance to the beat of their own drum (which coincidentally is not an instrument in their band). The group blends bluegrass, old time, country, folk, blues, jazz, ragtime, and rockabilly music into their own sound; and they can throw down. The Devil Makes Three consists of Pete Bernhard (guitar), Lucia Turino (upright bass), and Cooper McBean (guitar and tenor banjo). Their powerful songwriting style with genuine lyrics straight from the heart pack a punch; you won’t be able to hold back from singing along with their relatable, down-home style.
