The rodeo, fully sanctioned by the sport’s governing body, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), will take place in Breckenridge every Saturday and Sunday from August 4th -September 2nd, 2012 in a specially-constructed arena in the Airport Road parking lot on the north side of town.

There will also be kids’ events that are open to public participation such as Mutton Busting and Calf Scrambles.
Venue doors will open at 4:30 p.m. each day, and will feature a family-friendly festival atmosphere leading up to the start of the event, including an all you can eat BBQ Cowboy Dinner, cotton candy, snow cones, alcohol, retail vendors, rodeo clowns, mechanical bulls, live music and so much more. At 5:00 p.m. there will be a free behind the chutes tour provided by the rodeo clown.
