ELIGIBILITY:  

Must be 21 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest and a legal resident of the fifty United States and Washington, D.C. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Breckenridge Grand Vacations (“Sponsor”), the MLB Entities (defined below), and their respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies associated with the Promotion (“Promotion Entities”) and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household (whether or not related) are not eligible to win a prize. “MLB Entities” means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated, and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the foregoing entities.  

 

PROMOTION PERIOD:  

 

Grand Slam Giveaway (“Promotion”) starts on or about at 12:00:01 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) on 4/6/2023 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) 10/01/2023 (the “Promotion Period”). Each entrant agrees to comply with the terms contained in Breckenridge Grand Vacations’ Privacy Policy and these Official Rules. The Promotion Period will be divided into monthly entry periods (each, a “Monthly Entry Period”) as indicated in the below chart. The official timekeeping clock shall be the Sponsor’s clock. Limit one (1) entry per person per monthly entry period Additional entries beyond the specified limit will be void. Entries to a previous Monthly Entry Period will not roll over and will not be included in subsequent Monthly Entry Periods. A total of five (5) Monthly Prizes (each, a “Monthly Prize”) and one (1) Grand Prize (“Grand Prize”) will be awarded.

Answers to the questions on this entry form do not affect chances of winning. All entries are subject to verification of eligibility before a prize can be awarded. If the entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements listed above his or her entry is automatically void. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete or inaccurate entries. Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures in the entry process, for example without limitation, a website crash. Entrants are prohibited from assigning, substituting, or transferring their interest in an entry or a prize won through a winning entry.   

 

PRIZE  

    

Each prize offered is listed with its Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”). Actual value of a prize may vary depending on various options provided by the prize provider. Limit one prize per entrant. Transportation and lodging not included in any prize unless otherwise indicated. 

 

Monthly Prize: 

 

  • A total of Five (5) Monthly Prize Winners will receive four (4) tickets for the winner and three (3) guests to attend one (1) 2023 Colorado Rockies regular season home game of their choice (subject to availability and blackout dates), plus one (1) autographed officially licensed Colorado Rockies memorabilia item at Sponsor’s sole discretion. (ARV of Monthly Prize: $300). 

 

Grand Prize: 

 

  • One (1) Grand Prize Will Be Awarded: The Grand Prize Winner will receive: i) Five (5) nights lodging in a one-bedroom Breckenridge unit (quad occupancy) at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 in Breckenridge, Colorado; ii) $5,000 in the form of a check; and iii) access to a twenty (20) person suite for winner and up to nineteen (19) guests at one (1) 2024 Colorado Rockies regular season home game of winner’s choice (subject to availability and blackout dates). (ARV of Grand Prize: $6,500)  

 

Actual value of autographed items subject to market fluctuations. No certificate of authenticity is provided by Sweepstakes Entities. Lodging at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 is redeemable through 9/30/2024. Lodging is based on promotional availability and is not available during holidays or peak times, including but not limited to: 11/23/23–11/27/23, 12/22/23–1/2/24, 1/13/24–1/16/24, 2/17/24–2/20/24, 3/10/24–3/31/24, 5/26/24–5/30/24, 7/3/24–7/4/24, 9/2/24–9/5/24. 

 

Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see rockies.com/ticketback. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Each winner’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in his/her(their) jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Each winner and his/her guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations in connection with the prize; see https://www.mlb.com/rockies/ballpark for details. Sponsor and the MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or his/her guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Sponsor and MLB will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket.  

 

RANDOM DRAWING; ODDS: 

 

On or about the dates in the below chart, one (1) potential Monthly Prize Winner (“Monthly Prize Winner”) will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Monthly Entry Period. There will be five (5) total Monthly Prizes awarded. At the conclusion of the entire Promotion Period, one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected to receive the Grand Prize by random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, the potential winners will be declared the official winners of the Promotion. Odds of winning Monthly Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received per Monthly Entry Period. Odds of winning Grand Prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received overall. Limit one (1) Prize per month throughout the Promotion Period.

SELECTION OF WINNERS:   

 

Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing by Breckenridge Grand Vacations on or around the Drawing Dates indicated in the above chart. Answers to the questions on this entry form do not affect chances of winning.   

    

Each potential winner is subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder for the email address. “Authorized account holder” means the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by the Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organizations (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.   

    

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner and may refuse to award a prize to a person who is not eligible or has violated a rule, gained unfair advantage in the Promotion, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. If a winner is found to be ineligible or disqualified for any reason, an alternative winner will be selected from a separate random drawing. To receive a copy of the name of the Winner(s), mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by October 10, 2023 to Breckenridge Grand Vacations: Rocky Mountain Grand Slam Giveaway 2023, Attn: Marketing Department, PO Box 6879, Breckenridge, CO 80424.   

 

WINNER NOTIFICATION:   

    

On or around the 7th of each month, Breckenridge Grand Vacations will attempt to notify potential winner(s) by telephone and email. Neither the Sponsor nor any other entity shall have any responsibility or liability for failure to provide notice, including but not limited to, due to a participant’s failure to provide accurate or correct contact information, notices lost in transfer, or notices diverted to spam, junk, promotion or other email folders. If a winner is unreachable after five (5) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected at random from the pool of eligible entrants. If Sponsor cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded. Each potential winner may be required to furnish proof of eligibility, including but not limited to proof of identification. 

 

PUBLICITY RELEASE:   

    

Subject to applicable law, the winner(s) irrevocably grants the Sponsor and each of their licensees, and its and their successors, assigns and sub-licensees the right and permission to use their name, voice, likeness and/or biographical material for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion, in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), and on and in connection with related products, services, advertising and promotional materials (now known or hereafter developed), worldwide, in perpetuity, without any obligation, notice or consideration except for the awarding of the Prize to the winner. Entrants agree not to issue any publicity concerning the Promotion Entities.   

    

CONDITIONS:   

    

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Entrants further grant Breckenridge Grand Vacations the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.   

 

All prizes are awarded “as-is.” Sponsor makes no warranties including any warranties as to merchantability or fitness, either express or implied with respect to the prizes. Prizes may not be transferred, assigned, or substituted unless expressly provided for in these Rules. 

    

By completing this registration and pressing “submit”, you are giving Breckenridge Grand Vacations permission to contact you via telephone, SMS/ text message, fax, email or mail at the address(es) number(s) provided, despite any inclusion of your name on a do not call/do not contact registry or list.   

    

By clicking “submit” you expressly authorize Breckenridge Grand Vacations to call me or send me recorded messages or SMS/text messages about their products using automated technology to your telephone/cellular number you entered above.   

    

By entering into the Promotion, the entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless the Sponsor and the MLB Entities, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising out of or relating to, directly or indirectly, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any Promotion or prize use related activity, or participation in this Promotion.   

    

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.   

    

The winner is unofficial until they have accepted the prize via phone or email. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.   

    

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes, they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.   

   

Sponsor reserves the right to change the rules at any time. This contest is officially sponsored by Breckenridge Grand Vacations.
