The 31st Annual Great Rubber Duck Race is the perfect kick-off to celebrate Fall with the community.  On September 1, over 10,000 ducks will race down the Blue River for a good cause and prize giveaways.  The fundraiser will have three races: the FirstBank Kids Duck Dash, Kaiser Permanente Colorado Business Battle Race and the Breckenridge Grand Vacations Great Rubber Duck Race.  Free kids’ activities and food begin at 10am at the Riverwalk Center Lawn.

Next, you can enjoy your long Labor Day weekend from September 1-3 viewing photography, wood, glass, jewelry and pottery at the 43rd Breckenridge Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival.

One of the most popular weekends in Breckenridge, September 7-9 will host Breckenridge Oktoberfest.  Enjoy the largest street party in the Rocky Mountains by drinking beer, playing games, dancing and eating pretzels.

If you don’t like beer we’ve got wine! Come up to Breckenridge on September 13-16 for the Breckenridge Wine Classic.  Master sommeliers, chefs and winemakers invite everyone to come play, wine and dine during the height of Breckenridge’s fall colors.

Since its opening event in 1981, the Breckenridge Film Festival has been a staple in town.  Celebrate the art of filmmaking with a variety of films, programs, premieres and receptions. This will all take place from September 20-23.

Close out the busy month by indulging in Strings, Ciders, & Sours on September 28-30.  Its exactly how it sounds: taste ciders from around the world and sours with views in the Sours Garden, add the sound of bluegrass, and it’s a recipe for greatness.
